24 hour crisis line
This service offer the following features:
- caller identifies what the crisis is, whether it is related to past or present sexual abuse
- we provide emotional support including;
- active listening
- believing the survivor
- helping the survivor to identify their strengths
- we give information surrounding sexual abuse such as legal and medical issues
- we provide referrals for SSAIC counsellors, groups and other professional help; Doctors and other services in the community that might be of assistance
- we provide accompaniment for victims/survivors to the hospital, police station and court
