SUPPORT GROUPS

A support group is a group that has both an educational and a therapeutic component. In a support group, people help and support each other in the healing process. Types of support groups that SSAIC has facilitated: Sexual Harassment, Recent Sexual Assault, Survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse, Partners for Abuse Survivors.

SSAIC offers support groups based on the needs of and requests from our clients. Please check "Calendar" on our website for upcoming programs or contact the office for more information. Programs are offered when there is demand, and when funding is available.
